BIVID Telecom supports the Associació Amics del Turó de la Seu Vella in the conservation of Lleida's heritage
Lleida, June 2025. BIVID Telecom announces its collaboration with the Associació Amics del Turó de la Seu Vella, a non-profit entity dedicated to the conservation, dissemination and promotion of the monumental complex of the Turó de la Seu Vella, one of Lleida's heritage emblems and a candidate for UNESCO World Heritage status.

The Turó de la Seu Vella brings together on the same hill the ancient Romanesque-Gothic cathedral (the Seu Vella, 13th-15th centuries), the Castle of the King (the Suda, of Islamic origin) and a walled defensive system that embraces the city. It is one of the best preserved monumental complexes in Catalunya and the main visual landmark of Lleida from any point in the Segrià.
The complex is currently in the process of being nominated for UNESCO World Heritage status, a declaration that would recognize its universal historical, architectural and landscape value.
What the Associació Amics del Turó does
The Associació Amics del Turó de la Seu Vella develops cultural dissemination activities, maintenance of elements of the site, organization of guided tours, thematic conferences and social and tourist promotion activities. Its work complements that of public administrations that manage the monument and is sustained mainly through membership fees, occasional contributions and private sponsorships.

In sports, it sponsors Força Lleida CE basketball, Balàfia Vòlei Club, Club Rítmica Almacelles and SuperPao 58 in the Women's Motorcycle World Championship.
