BIVID Telecom opens its first physical store in Almacelles
Almacelles, March 2025. BIVID Telecom inaugurates its first physical store in Almacelles, right on Rambla Catalunya 8. The new BIVID Store is born with the aim of bringing in-person service closer to the residents of the Segrià region and strengthening the operator's commitment to the Lleida territory.
Local service in the heart of Almacelles
The store is located on one of the commercial arteries of the town, just meters from the Town Hall. It opens Monday to Friday on a split schedule (9:30 to 13:30 and 17:30 to 20:00) and offers personalized service for contracting fiber optic, mobile lines, combined packages, alarms and television services.
The BIVID Almacelles team also collects faulty equipment, performs basic repairs and processes registrations on site with documentation ready in just a few minutes. It is the operator's first physical point of sale, until now exclusively online or by phone.
Betting on proximity against the big operators
The opening comes at a time of concentration in the Spanish telecom sector. While major operators reduce offices and redirect their customers to digital channels, BIVID chooses the opposite path: being where customers are, with real people who know the area.

Symmetric fiber coverage in Almacelles
The opening coincides with the deployment of symmetric fiber optic coverage of up to 1 Gb in virtually all of Almacelles' urban area. The operator offers residential rates from €25/month with installation and WiFi 6 router included, with no lock-in period and fixed pricing (no increases from the second year onwards).
For businesses and freelancers, BIVID offers specific rates with SLA for incidents and priority service from €35/month. Coverage is complemented by wireless connections (WiMax) in rural areas around the region where fiber has not yet reached.
